What are success chances while on the entrepreneurial journey when we get to meet failures often. This has always made me think how much is the right amount of failures we should face on the path to success.
How much is that just enough to get the success afterwards.?
Is there any standard formula recipe for this which can be backed by some science?
How many times should you try before rationally quitting?
–3 times Steven Spielberg was rejected by University of Southern California
–25 times Tim Ferris’s book The 4 Hour Work Week was rejected by publishers.
–300 times founder of Pandora.com approached investors before he got funding.
–400 times Richard Branson launched companies before he finally founded one that is out of this world
–1009 times Colonel Sanders who just started KFC was turned down when he tried selling his fried chicken recipe
–1500 times Sylvester Stallone was rejected when he tried selling his script and himself as what would become the film “Rocky”
–5126 times James Dyson created failed prototypes of his vacuum cleaner
–10000 times Thomas Edison created failed prototypes of his electric bulb
So what are the chances for the success for an average human mind?
Down below info-graphic shows it very clearly how much is the role of motivation that plays in to get success in life:
